Father-Son Road Trip to LS Fest in a Retired Cop Car: Bad Bearings, Good Times

A father-son duo took a retired police car on a road trip to LS Fest, turning a journey marred by mechanical trouble into a memorable bonding experience. The trip, documented by The Autopian, highlights the unpredictability of traveling in an old vehicle—specifically a former cop car—where a failing wheel bearing became a central challenge. Despite the setback, the pair found joy in the open road, underscoring the appeal of automotive events like LS Fest, which celebrates GM's LS engine platform. The story resonates with car enthusiasts who value the journey as much as the destination, proving that even breakdowns can lead to good times. It's a reminder that the best road trips are about the people and the stories, not just the car.
